The Reality of Overproduction

Overproduction is a major issue in our society, it contributes to:

-       The pollution of the environment,

-       Textile waste,

-       Inhumane working conditions.

We are seeing notable changes in climate change, one of the causes of which is shipping.

protect the ocean, terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems

In addition, factories often expose their workers to inhumane working conditions and the use of pollutants that can harm the local environment, the health of employees, neighboring populations, aquatic ecosystems, and terrestrial ecosystems.

Therefore, it is essential to be aware of those realities and make choices that will change our consuming and producing.

This awareness was raised at the previous COP summit, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where an agreement was reached to phase out fossil fuels by 2050.

Our Engagement

In view of these realities, we naturally chose to use upcycling fabrics.

Create environmentally conscious clothing

Raise awareness among our readers about fast fashion and its consequences

Encourage the adoption of responsible consumption practices

Promote a healthy production method in the pre-order system, which avoids overproduction and waste

And advertise French know-how which is recognized throughout the world

Why is upcycling on everyone’s lips?

Because this approach corresponds to a more responsible way of consumption, in recent years, we have faced a real challenge regarding our way of life with the pandemic.

We are seeing a change in mentality and a desire to consume differently.

In addition, the fashion industry is evolving, with more brands turning to more environmentally conscious fashion.

At Wonderfully Made, we believe that if everyone contributes, things can evolve and possibly change for the good of our planet and future generations.
